  • I think this is the best analysis I have read of this story. These girls, while not exactly admirable, certainly do deserve the respect that they are actively being denied. There a support groups for all sorts of things - they formed a support group to ensure they continue their education.

  • Better Off Dead is THE ultimate forgotten '80s movie. We watched this once a semester in high school trig and calc, due to the teacher's obsession with the movie. He claimed it was due to the one scene in the math class...when everyone laughs at the joke with the rhombus...

  • I am 99% sure the eye belonged to Locke - he's been keeping Jacob company since pulling himself out of that mass grave. Especially since it seems he came out of the house to talk to Hurley.

  • Did anyone else notice that 'Jacob' in the cabin that Hurley found looked a LOT like Christian Shepherd, aka Jack's dad? It was much less a ghostly shadow, ala the image seen last season, than a corporeal form.

  • If they have been on the ships that long, most likely different forms of religion/worship would have evolved. Maybe some have scorned religion, others have taken it to extremes, others have come to worship the ship itself.

  • This line of thinking would seem to add another question...is the ship(s) a significant character? If the ship is self-repairing, self-sustaining, then it would seem that it would have some sort of "control" over their voyage.

  • Heck with the lifetime ban from football. He deserves that at a minimum, and excessive jailtime on top of it. His status as a public figure necessitates punishment, to ensure that people know that just because you are being cruel to animals, you are still subject to the legal system.

  • I didn't notice this article...Wil Wheaton is one of my favorite bloggers. I was a trekkie when I was a pre-teen/teenager, and therefore Wesley Crusher was one of my first crushes (I am sure that poster I had is still somewhere in my old room!).
